unitized
Turns a signed field (−1 to 1) into a unit field (0 to 1).
unitized(field: Field): Field
Import noise from shaders/std and use noise.unitized.
Put it directly around a signed basis (gaborGrains, waveletBands, erosionRidges, noiseField('mx3signed')) so noiseTone and the palette see 0 to 1. Or skip it and use signedTone, which takes the signed value itself.
Parameters
| Name | Type | Notes |
|---|---|---|
field | Field |
Example
seededPlane(unitized(gaborGrains({frequency: p('frequency')})), {scale: p('scale'), seed: p('seed')})
