radialFrame

The frame for a burst, halo or sweep around a center prop.

radialFrame(center: PropRef): LightValue

Import light from shaders/std and use light.radialFrame.

Gives each pixel its distance and angle from the center as vec2(dist, angle). Distance is in aspect-corrected uv (0.5 is half the canvas height), the angle in radians. center is a position prop. Evaluate parts in it with withFrame.

Parameters

centerPropRef

Example

coverage: withFrame(radialFrame(p('center')), modulate(rayLobes({count: p('rays'), spin: -1, sharpness: 4}), featherMask({radius: p('radius'), feather: 0.5})), 'burst')
