crispTap

One clean sample of the child at a frame's warped coordinate.

crispTap(frame: GatherFrame): SampleStage

Import effects from shaders/std and use effects.blurs.crispTap.

Use it under a warp that magnifies: hard edges in the child (text, a logo) stay smooth instead of breaking into facets. Returns straight alpha, so close the stack with {resultAlpha: 'straight'}.

Example

effect: gatherStack(crispTap(sphere), [rimLit(sphere, {position: p('light'), intensity: 0.5, softness: 0.5, color: p('lightColor')})], {resultAlpha: 'straight'})
