Dynamic prop mapping
Turning static props into dynamic ones in the design editor: mapping one layer's output into another's prop, following the cursor, or animating automatically.
What's covered
- Converting static props into dynamic props
- Mapping cursor position to component props
- Animating values automatically
- Setting minimum and maximum values
- Adjusting response curves
- Adding smoothing to motion
- Using momentum for spring-like interactions
- Combining several dynamic props in one interaction
Key concept
Most props can be dynamic. Instead of a fixed number, the prop reads from the cursor, an automatic animation, or another layer, within the range you set. It's all configured in the editor, with no code.
